New Life Drawing Sessions
Life drawing sessions are now underway in the events room at the shop. Sessions are currently fully booked but we do have a waiting list and new sessions are being planned.
In these two hour sessions you will be working at your own pace, developing your own style and you will be encouraged to express yourself freely on paper. We are drawing the human form from a live model. The technical issues presented from drawing the human body will push us all. It is a chance for focussed self-guided study and an opportunity to improve your drawing skills in a way only life drawing can. Our models are members of the Register of Artists’ Models, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise. Sessions are for adults only.
To book your place on Wednesday or Thursday evening, please pop into the shop or email. Pre-booking is essential.
Weekly sessions are on Wednesday & Thursday Evenings, 6pm – 8pm. £10 per adult.
Weekly Drawing Classes
Tuesday Evening (6pm – 7pm) is our main ‘learn to draw’ style class. Each week a different challenge and a new technique to try. Over just a few sessions, you will start to build up a took kit of new drawing techniques to help you in your own artwork.
Friday morning (10am – 11am) is slightly different with artists working together on different drawing projects. We look in more depth at different drawing techniques and decide as a group what we want to work on.
We also run special one-off classes for mini artists, (aged 10+) during the school holidays (and for the Westbury Festival). Each with exciting subjects to explore with drawing tips.
All sessions are £6 per person.
What to bring: Please just bring a sketch pad of any size you like working in. If you have a nice set of pencils, please bring them but we have pencils, charcoal etc here for you to use.
How to book: Please just pop in and book your place at the till.
