Valerian Fibres masks are made with layers of wool built up and needle-felted into place. Maker, Valerie Jukes of Valerian Fibres, uses a variety of wool in this process – most often she uses Dartmoor Grey Face wool as the core and uses coloured wools (either natural colours or dyed) for the top-coat. If you want to wear the mask, simply remove the soft mounting block. The back of the mask is covered with a cotton liner for comfort and there is an elastic strap, with is secured with a toggle. PLEASE NOTE: These handmade masks are NOT TOYS and are NOT suitable for us in play by Children under 14. Keep away from fire. Not suitable for those with an allergy to wool, lanolin or other natural fibres. Not washable, gentle surface brush only.
