Thursday Life Drawing Sessions
Every last Thursday of the month, come and draw the human form in a two-hour, self-guided life drawing session. We work with professional life models and sessions are fun, friendly, and supportive. Nothing pushes you harder to improve your drawing and observational skills than drawing the human body.
Facilitator
Ali Vermeeren
Published illustrator, drawing tutor and project manager at Spacecraft Westbury.
The Sessions:
At 6pm, we start with a series of very short (2mins) warm-up poses before moving onto longer 15mins/20mins poses.
At 7pm we take a civilised break – refreshments provided. There is no pressure to share your sketches from the first half but it’s always lovely to see each other’s different styles and approaches.
After the break, we work on a longer pose, timings depend on how civilised the break was….
VERY IMPORTANT – we start very strictly at 6pm. Our models always arrive early and will start their first pose at 6pm so we ask everyone to arrive in good time, and be ready to start with pencil on paper at 6pm.

Time:
6pm – 8pm
Cost:
£10 per person
Venue:
Life drawing sessions take place in the exhibition room on the ground floor at the shop.
